Kenneth A. Clark received his Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering degree from Cleveland State University in 1980 and his Juris Doctor degree from the same University in 1985. In addition to being a partner in Rankin, Hill, Porter & Clark, Mr. Clark serves as Patent Counsel for Ferro Corporation. Mr. Clark became a member of the Ohio Bar in 1986 and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Court of Claims. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Society for Metals (ASM International).
Mr. Clark has substantial experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark (domestic and foreign) applications. He has worked extensively in the area of polymer compositions, electronic materials, specialty organic chemicals, metal alloys and various types of organic and inorganic coatings. Mr. Clark is also very active in the area of contracts that concern intellectual property, including licenses and joint development agreements.
